The long term objective of the project is to develop a tool that will screen phased-array ultrasound datax000D
collected on welds and point out where the operator needs to be looking for defects. To achieve this goal, thex000D
data needs to be cleaned up and the drift between the probe and the weld needs to be estimated. The projectx000D
aims at using feature-based approaches for estimating probe drift.
