Grants and Contributions:
Grant or Award spanning more than one fiscal year (2017-2018 to 2020-2021).
Electric motor drives are the major consumers of electrical energy and they have significant potential to improve efficiency. High-power motor drives operating in the medium-voltage (MV) range from 2.3 to 15kV and very attractive in electrical systems due to their energy saving features. The next generation of MV motor drives will require improved power electronics and associated control technologies.x000D
