Program Purpose:

The current challenge for LoanConnect is how to address the appropriate level of safeguarding required for the personal information gathered and stored by their online application. In order to conduct day to day business, LoanConnect must collect personal information from consumers in order to provide accurate loan options. This information is then stored on their server(s) with different levels of security in place. In order to safeguard this information and protect it against potential threats LoanConnect requires a review and testing against their current security measures. In order to meet the needs required for their cybersecurity testing, LoanConnect has turned to Stuart Budden in the School of Information and Technology at Fanshawe College. Stuart's extensive background in cybersecurity, network architecture, server infrastructure and cloud computing will be the perfect fit for designing a testing protocol and security recommendations for the company. A final technical report will be created from the testing performed by Fanshawe which LoanConnect can utilize as a model and set of best practice(s) for monitoring their systems to prevent and defend against cyber threats.x000D
