This contribution supports Geographic Information System research and digitization related to the archaeological site known as Saddle Island West at Red Bay National Historic Site. Archaeological data collected by Memorial University’s Archaeology Unit during the 1980s will be analyzed, georeferenced and digitized. This work will provide a better understanding of the site and its role in Canada’s history.
