This contribution will support the emerging Nuji Kelo’toqatijik Earth Keeper Network. This network will consist of Mi’kmaw community members, called Earth Keepers (Nuji Kelo’toqaijik), who will take a leading role within Kespukwitk (South-West Nova, including Kejimkujik NPNHS) in protecting the natural world through environmental monitoring and reporting, the education on Mi’kmaw rights and responsibilities, and the revitalization and intergenerational sharing of Mi’kmaw Knowledge.
