This contribution agreement will support research on how nature-based forest management and restoration strategies in Terra Nova National Park, including moose management, prescribed fire, and tree planting, impact carbon balance and biodiversity. The result of this research will support land managers in determining optimal solutions to mitigate climate change, restore or maintain ecological integrity, and support species at risk recovery in forested ecosystems in Terra Nova National Park.
