This contribution enables Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society to better support Canada’s community of urban park and ecological corridor practitioners through research, analysis, and national exchanges related to urban parks and protected areas, and ecological corridors. Research, analysis, and contributions to national discussions in these areas are in the public interest and the results will support Parks Canada’s development of the recently launched National Urban Parks program and National Program for Ecological Corridors.
