This contribution supports the capacity development of Innu youth within Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation by providing funding for employment opportunities through programs with Innu Nation and its partners, such as: Archaeology Internships and youth cultural guardian positions. Youth capacity development is part of a longer term plan to prepare the next generation of Innu youth to take on positions within Akamiu-uapishku.
