Description:
This grant supports citizen science activities lead by Laskeek Bay Conservation Society (LBCS) in Laskeek Bay, near Gwaii Haanas. With Laskeek Bay Conservation Society, students, volunteers, interns and tour groups have the opportunity to join biologists as Citizen Scientists, and undertake hands-on environmental research and monitoring activities, based at Limestone Island field camp. Through these experiences, participants connect to and experience Canada’s natural heritage in enriched and meaningful ways.
