This contribution enables local Mi’gmaq community partners to actively participate in the monitoring and protection of culturally significant sites in Kouchibouguac National Park. Through the Kouchibouguac National Park Guardian program, Mi’gmaq Guardians will receive training, conduct field work, engage with communities, increase awareness and provide collaborative capacity.
