The contribution also enables the Indigenous-led guardian initiative to create space for Carcross/Tagish First Nation citizens to empower themselves further through telling their own stories in their own voices and to broaden the Chilkoot Trail National Historic Site narrative and transforming the Parks Canada place as a whole.
