Description:
This grant supports the preparation and presentation of Ocean Wise’s Ocean Bridge Direct Action youth mentoring program at the IMPAC 5 congress in February 2023. The talk will present the benefits of the program to youth entering the field of marine conservation as well as to host organizations. The grant will also sponsor the participation of 7 youth (including 4 Indigenous youth) to participate in the “Coastal Connections” youth pre-Congress mentoring session
