This grant supports Nunavut Tunngavik Inc (NTI) in the negotiation of an Inuit Impact and Benefit Agreement (IIBA) with Parks Canada. The Inuit negotiating team consists of three representatives from NTI and at least one from each three Regional Inuit Associations plus one legal counsel for a total of seven representatives who must travel from various parts of Nunavut.
