Description:
The grant supports an interview recording project that will help deepen knowledge of the history and experience of Inuit people in relation to the Labrador coastal territory, marine mammal hunting and fishing, the relationship between Indigenous People and Basque whalers, and the significance of the Red Bay historic site. The audio recording of interviews will allow these perspectives and the Inuktitut language to be shared through an exhibition.
