This contribution supports Toquaht Nation’s Stewardship Program within their territory located in the Broken Group Islands of Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. Toquaht’s stewardship Program, funded through the Southern Resident Killer Whale program, assists in the delivery of environmental monitoring, cultural heritage interpretation to visitors, maintenance, and wildlife monitoring, enabling and expanding Indigenous cultural and ecological knowledge into marine science and monitoring activities.
