Description:
This grant enables the documentation of Oral History of the Pingo Canadian Landmark and the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula by recording youth interviewing Elders about the Pingos and other nearby cultural sites. This will allow for the preservation of important knowledge about these cultural sites within the community of Tuktoyaktuk through the production of short video clips distributed by the Inuvialuit Communications Society. Youth will learn interviewing, videography and editing skills.
