This contribution supports Mi`gmawe`l Tplu`taqnn Incorporated’s development of an Indigenous Guardians Program that focuses on the transfer, preservation, and protection of Mi’gmaq cultural knowledge beginning with an Indigenous Knowledge Study of Fundy National Park and surrounding region. The study incorporates Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) approach, recognizing both Western and Indigenous methodologies and ways of knowing to preserve and promote Mi’gmaq language, history, and traditions.
