This grant supports Ulnooweg Education Centre to host a Species of Cultural Importance Workshop at Asitulisk that will bring together community members, Mi’kmaq organisations and Parks Canada. In addition to the venue, Ulnooweg Education Centre will faciliate the planning/development of the workshop, catering, and facilitation. This workshop will aid in the understanding of Culturally significant species in Kesputwitk and Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site.
