This contribution supports the active engagement and participation of the Moose Cree First Nation in negotiations for an establishment agreement of a national marine conservation area in western Weeneebeg (James Bay) and southwestern Washabeyoh (Hudson Bay). It enables Moose Cree First Nation to hire personnel to support travel and undertake necessary discussions, to participate in negotiation meetings, and to engage with its community as well as other interested Indigenous governments and communities.
