SON Capacity Enhancement: This contribution supports the Nation to build capacity to engage with Parks Canada and coordinate efforts towards shared governance. Framework for Working Together: This contribution supports the Nation in gathering information and engaging in internal discussions to determine their approach to negotiating a Relationship Agreement. Community Engagement and Participation: This contribution supports the involvement of SON Elders, Youth and community members in various gathering activities to provide input and knowledge to help shape the vision for shared governance. Parks’ Research and Monitoring Program: This contribution supports the Saugeen Ojibway Nation with development of an ecological sustainability monitoring program at the Bruce Peninsula National Park and Fathom Five National Marine Park using a Two-eyed Seeing approach that applies Indigenous and Western scientific ways of knowing to address concerns about ecosystem health.
