This grant supports students from the Nelson Waldorf School to sustainably collect lichen for caribou living in the Caribou Conservation Breeding Centre in Jasper National Park. Caribou living in the Breeding Centre require lichen for their general nutrition, to help transition them to and away from pellet feed, and to move them around passively within the centre.
