The contribution supports Métis Nation of Alberta to hold a native seed collection event at Elk Island National Park. The event involves ecological knowledge sharing for Métis citizens; plant identification and seed collection education; seed cleaning, processing, and testing; and capacity building for future land stewardship and restoration activities on the recipient’s Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area lands.
