This contribution supports Medical First Response capacity for North Queens Fire Association (NQFA), a local volunteer fire department that is the responding agency dispatched through Nova Scotia Emergency Health Services for medical incidents in and around Kejimkujik. This contribution will better position NQFA to respond to an increased volume of calls by investing in equipment necessary to respond to incidents in wilderness and remote locations.
