This grant supports Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation’s capacity to coordinate and facilitate an Anishinaabe-led Naming Circle in collaboration with the other Nations that comprise the Rouge National Urban Park First Nations Advisory Circle. This includes the naming process for the new visitor centre as well as the new boardwalk trail at Rouge Beach, both set to open in 2027.
