The objective of the project is to support the participation of Dehcho First Nation in the negotiation of an Impact and Benefit Agreement for Nahanni Nationla Park Reserve in the Northwest Territories. The project enables DFN to fund their negotiation team, update and consult with DFN leadership and community members on the status of the negotiations, cover legal costs incurred in the negotiations and engate in the process for ratification of the IBA.
