The objective of the project will be to provide the Lower Similkameen Indian Band with capacity to: take part in planning activities and conduct consultations with Band members; provide input from Syilx traditional knowledge and land use to guide boundary definition; and explore models for co-operative management and make recommendations regarding the establishment of the South Okanagan national park reserve.
