Description:

This contribution supports the collection and editing of oral history stories from the region now designated as Akami-Uapishku – KakKasuak – Mealy Mountain National Park Reserve. Interviews will be conducted with community elders and legacy audio recordings will be digitized to create story maps and interpretive products detailing seasonal movements and traditional activities of NunatuKavut Inuit in Akami-Uapishku – KakKasuak – Mealy Mountain National Park Reserve.
