This contribution supports fuel purchase and transport for a polar bear survey that will be led by the Government of Nunavut. This survey will make it possible to estimate the current polar bear population size and composition in the Lancaster Sound subpopulation, which overlaps Qausuittuq National Park, Sirmilik National Park, and Tallurutiup Imanga National Marine Conservation Area.
