This contribution supports the Lower Similkameen Indian Band to take part in planning activities and conduct engagement with Band members and adjacent bands, provide input from Syilx traditional knowledge and land use, and make recommendations regarding the establishment of the South Okanagan-Similkameen national park reserve leading to signed park establishment agreements between Lower Similkameen Indian Band, Osoyoos Indian Band, Parks Canada and the Government of British Columbia.
