This grant supports the Lac Seul First Nation in preserving and sharing the history of the Pelican Residential School. The project consists of panel installations that will explain the timeline of the school that once stood, how far the community has come through stories and pictures and will acknowledge the students that didn’t make it home. The design and layout, as well as the history content will be written by the residential school survivors.
