Grants and Contributions:

Cultural infrastructure projects are approved and have a variety of funding sources. Artists and creators have access to professional cultural facilities.
A variety of arts and heritage experiences are available in a wide range of communities.

Recipient type is currently not captured in our current system. Agreement start date is based on the approval date and in some cases on eligible activities due to current system limitations.

Helping to reinforce community participation and ownership of arts and heritage organizations, which is at the heart of the Department’s mission to contribute to a cohesive and creative Canada in which all Canadians have opportunities to participate in Canada’s cultural and civic life.
