Grants and Contributions:

1. Young people have access to a wide variety of exchange experiences, including exchanges related to official languages;
2. Young people from across Canada participate in youth exchanges; 3. Exchange participants reflect the diversity of the Canadian youth population;
3. Young participants enhance their knowledge and understanding of Canada; 5. Young participants connect and create linkages with one another; 6. Young participants enhance their appreciation of the diversity and shared aspects of the Canadian experience.

Recipient type is currently not captured in our current system. Agreement start date is based on the approval date and in some cases on eligible activities due to current system limitations.

Creates opportunities for young Canadians to gain a better understanding of their country, to connect with one another and to gain a better appreciation of both the diversity and the shared aspects of life in Canada. Exchanges Canada also provides a single window to information on a wide range of exchanges available within Canada and abroad.
