Program Purpose:
The Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention program promotes the health and well-being of Canadians of all ages by supporting community-based projects which address the root causes of health inequalities, and the common risk and protective factors that are important to preventing chronic disease, and conduct public health research and surveillance.
