Healthy Canadians and Communities Fund (HCCF)
Program Purpose:

The Healthy Canadians and Communities Fund (HCCF) focuses on promoting healthy living among people living in Canada who face health inequalities and are at greater risk of developing the main chronic diseases of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer. The HCCF supports interventions that address behavioural risk factors for chronic diseases, including physical inactivity, unhealthy eating and tobacco use. The program also aims to create physical and social environments that are known to support better health among people living in Canada.

HCCF priorities include investing in interventions that address health inequalities among priority populations, encouraging the participation of multiple sectors in chronic disease prevention and uncovering new ways to address risk factors for chronic disease.
