Description:
This project will support current and upcoming engagements in support of Canada’s collective response to COVID-19 in collaboration with Federal, Provincial and Territorial (FTP) governments. It will be done through building and maintaining the CRC's base and surge capacities.

Target capacity to be recruited/surged: Base – 278 (162 deployable, 116 enablers) Surge – 1550 (rapid responders and stand-by)

Program Purpose:
The objective of the Program is to enable the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) to support Canadians’ needs stemming from COVID-19, floods and wildfires.
Through the provision of funding to the CRC under this program, the CRC will have the resources to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on Canadians as well as that of floods and wildfires.
