Description:
The project will update the city-wide Flood Risk Profile in a manner consistent with the principles City’s Storm Infrastructure Guidelines, and as outlined in the output from the original Flood Risk Profile. The Risk Assessment will enable identification of areas that require more detailed analysis (erg.. river, storm sewer, and/or street flood risk assessments) and areas that show lower risk even when based on conservative flood risk proxies.

Expected Results:
- Utilization and further advancement of an innovative framework for a city-wide flood risk profile in GIS; 2. advancement of a City-wide urban and suburban Flood Risk Profile identifying actual risks or conservative proxies for individual properties; 3. Report infrastructure performance and its direct impact on individual property flooding from storm sewers, and streets (major system flooding) using GIS tools; 4. Creation of GIS files and databases that can be used to easily scale risk results from the individual property level up to the city-wide level; 5. Generation of critical inputs to: i. The inclusion into near term decision making relative to infrastructure renewal as part of the City's long term financial plan ii. Identify areas requiring detailed infrastructure reconnaissance; iii. The prioritization of infrastructure asset projects, programs, and studies using sewer and street performance / capacity, level of service, and climate change. 6. Provide input to Municipal Emergency Management Officials for the preparation and planning of critical infrastructure.
