Description:
The CRC will provide up to 15 medical personnel to work in ICU and sub-critical care in Ontario. They will be assigned preferably to a single facility selected according to demand at the time of deployment. Personnel may be rotated as needed based on deployment availability. Detailed scoping will be done once the facility is identified. The period of support will be nine weeks of operation.

(COV19) Supporting the Readiness of the Canadian Red Cross for Urgent Relief Efforts Related to Covid-19 and Upcoming Flood and Fire Seasons
Program Purpose:
The objective of the Program is to enable the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) to support Canadians’ needs stemming from COVID-19, floods and wildfires.
Through the provision of funding to the CRC under this program, the CRC will have the resources to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on Canadians as well as that of floods and wildfires.
