This proposal from the Canadian Red Cross (CRC) follows a request for federal assistance received from the Government of Prince Edward Island submitted on January 6, 2022, for support to Prince Edward Island’s COVID-19 Immunization Program. The CRC will provide up to 27 non-clinical personnel to support the vaccination effort

The objective of the Program is to enable the CRC to support Canadians’ needs stemming from COVID-19, floods and wildfires. Through the provision of funding to the CRC under this program, the CRC will have the resources to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on Canadians as well as that of floods and wildfires.
