Following a request for federal assistance from the Province of Saskatchewan, the Canadian Red Cross will support the Federal Government's response by providing surge Health Human Resources to the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA).

(HWF) Supporting a Humanitarian Workforce to Respond to COVID-19 and Other Large-Scale Emergencies
Program Purpose:
The objective of the Program is to enable the CRC to support Canadians’ needs stemming from COVID-19, floods and wildfires. Through the provision of funding to the CRC under this program, the CRC will have the resources to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on Canadians as well as that of floods and wildfires.
