Description:
CoSA is developing a tool that prioritizes its unique context as a community-based, volunteer-led, relationship-focused restorative justice reintegration program. The development of the Core Member Intake Tool (CMIT) will provide a comprehensive evidence-informed protocol to assist volunteers and core members to work more effectively by accessing key information about risks, strengths, social/personal circumstances, and stigma, as examples.

Expected Results:

By the end of the project, CoSA Canada will have a fully developed Core Member Intake Tool (CMIT), a fully trained, nation-wide network of CoSA grass-roots practitioners using the CMIT, clear research and evaluation protocols established, published results from pilot implementation of the CMIT, and a clear plan to share learnings with other community-based reintegration programs.
