Grants and Contributions:
Immediate Outcomes: Identification and aggregation of data regarding prevalence of PTSI among public safety personnel; Lessons learned, innovative approaches and evidenced based best practices are identified; Lessons learned and best practices are disseminated to all stakeholders. Intermediate Outcomes: Improved collaboration between public safety command/associations, clients and providers; Improved delivery of treatment and services to public safety personnel suffering from PTSI throughout Canada; Development of unique programs and services to support families of public safety personnel diagnosed with PTSI. Long-term Outcome: A safer, secure and more resilient Canadian society.
