Description:
St. Theresa Point First Nation will create a volunteer task force to guide this project with the primary goal of developing an intervention project to address and reduce drug use and trafficking within the community. The development of the intervention project will target Youth (any person aged 30 and under) and families.

The expected immediate to long-term outcomes of this project will include: a Lead Coordinator will be engaged to develop an intervention project to address drug use and trafficking; Creation of a sustainable drug prevention volunteer task force; Created partnerships in place; Establishment of an intervention project ready for implementation; Increased sense of security and safety in the community; Reduction in drug use and trafficking; and Reconnection with Traditions and Culture.
