Description:
A Drug Stigma Awareness Training was developed to raise awareness within the law enforcement community on the negative impacts drug stigma can have on individuals who use substances. The course was developed by CPKN and is currently launched on the online training portal for law enforcement to access. Unforeseen COVID-19 pressures on first responders had a direct impact on course completion numbers and an extension is being requested for continued support to allow free online course access to December 31, 2023 in order to maximize its uptake across Canada.
