Grants and Contributions:
The expected result is to provide a current snapshot of SAR PSP mental health. A report will be produced for each partnering SAR organization, as well as an aggregated report, each of which will provide insights on duty-related mental health disorders affecting SAR PSP. The reports will inform ongoing development of evidence-based activities designed to minimize the impact of duty-related exposures to Potentially Psychologically Traumatic Events (PPTEs) and other occupational stressors. The research results can be integrated with other PSP research, facilitating the development and deployment of mental health solutions that can support national and international mental health strategies (e.g., Canada’s National Action Plan on PTSD and Federal Framework on PTSD).
The Parties wish further amend the Original Agreement to extend the project by one year and readjust the project budget through fiscal years.
The amendment will increase the Public Safety Canada funding amount by $154,269.00
