The outcomes of this needs assessment will determine whether they wish to pursue a joint or individual self-administered police service, join an existing police service, or maintain their existing policing model, provide full costing to inform discussions with Ontario and Canada, should a self-administered police service be desired by Mississauga First Nation, and provide the information required to submit an application for a new self-administered police service, as set out in the Terms and Conditions for the First Nations and Inuit Policing Program (FNIPP), Long Term Outcomes.
