Description:
The project activities will be carried out by a consultant, as guided by the Innu Round Table Secretariat over a 12 month period. There are four phases to the project:
Phase 1: Project Initiation and Planning
Phase 2: Environmental Scan and Comprehensive Review and Assessment of Current Policing Model
Phase 3: Governance, Financials and Implementation Needs/Recommendations
Phase 4: Findings and Reporting

Expected Results:
Immediate Outcomes: Development of a needs assessment and options analysis to determine options for future policing models in the Labrador Innu Nation.
Long Term Outcome: This project provides funding to support the Innu Nation with the assessment of potential policing models eligible under the First Nations and Inuit Policing Program’s Terms and Conditions.
