Description:
The purpose of this Contribution is to provide funding to implement the programming project with an evaluation component: Preventing and reintegrating people who have been radicalized into violence in prisons; with the aim of formulating a structured plan for the prevention of radicalization in federal prisons and for social reintegration. Approximately 100 people will benefit from the project's activities in Quebec and Ontario.

Expected Results:
The program will help formulate a structured plan for the prevention of radicalization in prisons and for social reintegration, by increasing the current range of support services, systematizing the steps in the support and training process for prison staff, and documenting the progress of cases over a 4.5-year period. Thanks to the participation of JHSO, the program will be deployed in Quebec and Ontario.
