Description:
The purpose of this contribution is to provide funding to implement the multi-sectoral intervention project, I.STL, with the aim of intervening with targeted at-risk individuals and populations through the support and services provided by the project; making positive changes in risk and protective factors among at-risk children and youth; and reducing delinquency among targeted populations. Approximately 300 at-risk and criminalized youth aged 10 to 18 in the Montreal borough of Saint-Léonard will benefit from the proposed activities.

Expected Results:

The project will be implemented by intervening in the living environments frequented by young people; by offering adapted and targeted services and activities to meet the multiple needs and interests of young people; by creating a support network for young people through mentors or significant role models; by building a bond of trust with participants and reorienting them towards a social circle with prosocial behaviours.
