Agreement Number:
24048
Agreement Value:
$252,000.00
Agreement Date:
Oct 16, 2024 - Mar 31, 2027
Description:
This project will develop an end-to-end solution that assists search and rescue management for decisions related to dynamic (re)assignment of tasks to responders on search and rescue missions. This will enhance the missions’ probabilities of success and minimize cognitive and physical fatigue of responders, improving the effectiveness of response efforts.
Organization:
Public Safety Canada
Expected Results:
The outcome of this project is to discover the impacts that cause physical and cognitive fatigue of workers and the optimal assignment of tasks to responders based on the worker's needs. The project will then develop a solution to this issue and test it in real search and rescue missions, which will provide the basis of further developing this solution to be applicable in ground, air, and maritime search and rescue missions.
