Description:
This project will provide a validated large-scale Avalanche Terrain Exposure Scale (ATES) rating for mountainous regions of Canada and develop infrastructure to make this information available for Canadians, which will assist in search and rescue prevention. This project's target population is recreational backcountry travellers, who will participate in the project evaluation.
